In today’s sermon, we address the profound topic of breaking free from demonic influence and, equally important, how to stay free. As we delve into this subject, we must acknowledge the seriousness and authority with which Jesus spoke about the powers of darkness and the evil that can manifest in people’s minds and bodies, ultimately originating from Satan, the Devil. Jesus’s desire is for you to be free from demonic influence and to remain free. 🕊️
How to Stay Free from Demonic Influence:
As we discussed last week, be filled with the Holy Spirit. When that which is Holy resides within us, there is no room for evil. 🙏✨
Flee from the appearance of evil. 🏃♂️
Embrace a life of holiness and “go and sin no more.” 🙅♂️🙅♀️
Arm yourself with the Truth. Satan is a master of deception, but he cannot deceive you if you hold onto the truth. Recognize that he often wraps deception in sweet-sounding words, such as, “Jesus is love, so do whatever you want, and He will still love you.” This undermines the holiness of Jesus. 📖🧐
When negative thoughts arise, replace them with a song of praise. 🎶🙌
Guard your heart. Satan possesses a toolbelt he uses to manipulate God’s people. 🧰👀
Satan’s Toolbelt:
Guilt can be a tool used by demonic forces. Remember Romans 8:1, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” 🙅♂️🔗
The past can be used as a tool by demonic forces, creating regret. Instead, embrace 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.” 🔄🆕
Be cautious of false hope in religious things, as many people are blinded by religious traditions that can block their true relationship with God. 🛐❌
Recognize and resist thoughts of suicide or self-harm by meditating on God’s Word. 🙏💪
Address other issues such as fear, timidity, and regret. 😰😔
Altar Call:
Reflect on how religious deception can impact lives today. In the wilderness, Satan attempted to use tools against Jesus, including fame, power, and submission. Jesus resisted these temptations by quoting Scripture and refusing to allow demonic forces to control Him. 🏞️🛡️
Likewise, we must recognize and resist Satan’s tactics, just as Jesus did, through the power of Jesus. As we draw this service to a close, remember that freedom from demonic influence and the strength to stay free are within our grasp through the power of Christ. 🙏📺 #Deliverance #SpiritualWarfare #StayFree #SundayService #YouBelong 🕊️🔗
